Cecilia (nee: Rajkowski), Mikula, 89, of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Bayonne Medical Center with her loving niece Barbara by her side.
“Ceily” as she was known by her family and friends, was born and raised in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident. She was employed by the Western Electric Company of Kearny, NJ, as a layout operator, a position she held for more than 39 years before her retirement many years ago. Ceily will be most remembered for her “big heart” and the tremendous pride she took in keeping her home and property in pristine condition.
Ceily was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Helen (nee: Orzechowski) Rajkowski; her four sisters, Stella Rajkowski, Lottie Morgan, Jean Olszewski, and Sophie Wasielewski; and her two brothers, Walter and Theodore. Left to cherish her memory are her three nieces, Babara Kopacz, Carol Sokola, Gigi Diaz, and one nephew, Raymond Rajkowski. Also survived by nine grandnieces, and grandnephews, and six great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 24, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral mass in Ceily’s honor will be offered on Thursday, January 25, at 10:00 am at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.
