Wieslaw Zielinski, 66, of Bayonne passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Born in Poland, Wieslaw emigrated to the United States with his family in 1979 where they settled in Bayonne. Prior to his retirement three years ago, he was employed with General Motors Corporation in Linden, N.J. as an assembly line worker, a position he held for more than 30 years.
Wieslaw was predeceased by his father, Jozef Zielinski. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Zofia (Jankowski) Zielinski; his sisters, Grace Krukowski, Ewa Szczesniak and her husband Waclaw and Helen Borawski and her husband Lester, his nieces and nephews, Christopher and Karolina, Peter and Michele, Andrew, Michael and Kate and Jessica; and his grand-nieces, Izabella, Stella and Zofia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home Sunday, March 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral mass in Polish will be held on Monday, March 5, 9:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish, 39 East 22nd St, Bayonne.
Interment will follow Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, 654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA.
