Andrew Balik, 78, of Bayonne passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Jersey City Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Jersey City, he resided most of his life in Bayonne.

Andrew took great pleasure in the simple things in life and nothing made him feel more content than planting flowers in his garden, relaxing in his swimming pool or enjoying his hot tub.
He was predeceased by his parents, George Balik Sr. and Elizabeth (Piga) Balik and one brother George Balik Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 48 years, Joanne (nee: Marko) Balik; his daughter Beth Ann Balik; one sister Eleanore Balik and one brother Joseph Balik; and his dearest and closest friends Peter Koval and Ted Wong.
As per his wishes, cremation was private. A memorial service will be held in Andrew’s honor with his ashes present on Saturday, July 13, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church, on Broadway and 5th Street, Bayonne. Pastor Greg Perez and Pastor Paul Guyla will officiate the service.
