Anna S. Moniuszko (nee: Prokop), 76, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Poland, Anna came to the United States with her family as a young girl and settled in Bayonne. Anna worked as a part-time employee with Shoprite in Bayonne, and as a bank clerk with the BCB Community Bank for the past 17 years. Prior to that, she held positions in the same capacity for many years with the First Savings Bank in Bayonne, and the New York Community Bank.
Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 1996, and her parents, Andrew and Maria (Grzanka) Prokop. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Daniel and his wife Christina Moniuszko.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass in Anna’s honor will be offered on Thursday, August 24, at 10:00 am at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22nd St. Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
