Donna (Foglia) Bielinski

Donna Bielinski (nee: Foglia), 65, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in San Paolo, Italy, Donna came to the United States as an infant with her parents and siblings where they all settled in Bayonne.  Later on she met and married the love of her life, Richard.  In the early years of their marriage they embraced life as a free spirited couple who enjoyed riding motorcycles and creating special moments together.  Donna and her husband then went on to successfully own and operate the Bielinski Plumbing and Heating Company in Bayonne where she proudly worked as the office manager.

Donna was full of exuberance and good cheer and had the ability to captivate just about anyone she met with her quick wit and good sense of humor.  She was known as “the problem solver” because of the patience she had and the guidance she offered to those who needed her most when it came to life’s challenges.  As an active parishioner of the Peoples Baptist Church in Bayonne, Donna faithfully gave her time and talent throughout the years.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching her favorite soap opera General Hospital, and spending relaxing times in her backyard swimming in her pool.  Donna took tremendous joy in her role as wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a passion for cooking, especially on the holidays as it filled her heart with joy spending quality time with her family, whom she loved so deeply.  

Donna was predeceased by parents, Aniello and Lucia (Barone) Foglia, and her brothers, Ralph, Neil, Anthony, and John.  Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard Bielinski, daughters, Maria Mascola and husband Michael, Lucia Giordano and husband Kris, and one brother, Louis Foglia and wife Jackie; three grandchildren, Leah, Joey, and Joel; sisters-in-law, Joanne Foglia (Ralph) and Rosemary Foglia (Neil); Also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 10, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm., with a prayer service to be held during viewing hours, officiated by the Rev. Paul Zeron, Pastor, of the Peoples Baptist Church of Bayonne.  Interment: Wednesday, December 11, at 11:45 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
