Edmund A. Narel, 59, of Bayonne, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City he has resided most of his life in Bayonne. Ed was employed with the Argent Trucking Company in Elizabeth, NJ where he held positions as a truck driver and warehouseman, a position he held for many years before his retirement nearly 10 years ago.
Ed was predeceased by his father Edmund Narel (in 2000), and his 2 brother in laws; Edward Szaro and Fred Marino. Left to cherish his memory are his longtime companion Julia Miller, his mother Helen (nee: Makowski) Narel; daughters, Tiffani Carole Narel and Melissa Gordon, his son Anthony Joseph Narel and his fiancé Ellie Leuze, 3 sisters, Loretta Szaro, Elaine Myhre and her husband John and Jacqueline Marino; 3 adored grandchildren, Lucas, Joseph and Julia, and 1 grandchild to be. Also survived by his former wife Joann Narel and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 23, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a catholic wake service at 6:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
