Helen Szczepanek

Helen Szczepanek, 96, a lifelong Bayonne resident, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Peace Care St. Ann’s in Jersey City.  Prior to her retirement nearly 50 years ago she worked as a machine operator for the General Electric Company in Newark, N.J.  Helen was a genuinely gracious woman who devoted most of her life caring for her close knit family.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Sophie (Wilk) Szczepanek; her three sisters, Anne Szczepanek, Sophie Rukat, and Mary Grusz; and her two brothers, John and Joseph Szczepanek.  Helen will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and her dear friends at St. Ann’s.

A visitation will be held in the St. Ann’s chapel, 198 Old Bergen Road, Jersey City, N.J.  on Tuesday, October 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Helen's honor. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
