Joyce (Pollio) Oxley

Joyce Oxley (nee: Pollio), 67, of Beach Haven, NJ, (formerly of Jersey City) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

A homemaker, Joyce was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Toms River for 25 years before settling in Beach Haven.  Joyce found comfort and serenity living by the ocean at the Jersey Shore. 

Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband Gilbert R. Oxley in 2002; her parents, Frank and Phyllis (Orrico) Pollio, and her sister Susan Pollio. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Heather and husband Carlos, her grandson Gilberto, her sister Sandra Gidman, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial mass with Joyce’s ashes present will be offered on Saturday, April 7, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 99 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 Westside Avenue, Jersey City, NJ.
