Natalie Popko, (nee: Guzinski), 87, of Mesa, Arizona, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 9, 2019, at her home. Born and raised in Bayonne, she moved to Mesa, Arizona where she resided for the past nine years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years at the Hudson County Probation Department.
While living in Bayonne, Natalie volunteered her time and talent to various civic and community organizations, including the Pulaski Parade Memorial Committee, the Richard A. Rutkowski Association, the Frontier Democratic Club, the Concerned Citizens of Bayonne, and the Joseph Doria Association. She was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she was an active member of the Mt. Carmel Rosary Society and the Mt. Carmel Guild.
Natalie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley Popko (in 1970), her parents, Zygmund and Maryanna (Niedziolka) Guzinski; her sisters, Harriet Kaminskiand Clara Pargansky and her brother, Valerian Guzinski. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Valerie Case and her husband George; her sons, Zigmund and his wife Amy and Joseph and his wife Maryann; Also survived by her adored grandchildren, Joseph S. Popko and his spouse Michael Zimmerman; Staci Lynn Popko and Anthony Pinto and their son Grayson Joseph Pinto, and Jamie Kornhaber and her husband Marc.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, September 17, from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m. A funeral mass in Natalie's honor will be offered at 11:00 am from St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
