Stephen Makowski Obituary

Stephen E. Makowski, 75, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Bayonne, passed away on June 23, 2018 after a short illness.

Stephen attended local schools and graduated from the New Jersey City University with a BA and MA degree in Education. He taught in both Florida and New Jersey and retired from the Jersey City School District as a teacher in the High School Twilight Program. In addition to teaching, he also owned a swimming pool supply store and a restaurant in Florida.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Helen F. and Joseph E. Makowski, and his brother, Robert. He is survived by his loving son Stephen Michael and his wife, Erin. In addition, he leaves his brother, Joseph L. and his wife Karen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Services were held privately in Florida.
