Vera Mariano

Vera Mariano, 72, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Bayonne Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Prior to her retirement 7 years ago, Vera worked as a bookkeeper for the union trust fund company, Basil Castrovinci & Associates.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Eleanor (nee: Makowski) Mariano and one brother Gary Mariano.  Left to cherish her memory are her devoted son Jason Iskra and his wife Sherry Lynn Hegel; one brother Arthur Mariano; one sister Barbara Bogdan and three adored grandchildren, Aliya, Jaelyn and Kylie.

As per Vera’s wishes, cremation was private.
