Angel A. Velez

With heavy hearts, the family of Angel A. Velez announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the age of 51.  Angel was born and raised in New York before settling in Bayonne 5 years ago.

Angel enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.  He expressed his creative flair through his drawings where his works of art decorated the walls of his home.  In his spare time he loved the challenge of playing video games and spending quite time with family and friends.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Angel was predeceased by his father, Angelo Velez, in 2018.  Left to cherish his memory are his dear son, Trevor Angel Velez, his loving mother, Carmen Nieves, sisters, Gisela Velez-Rivera and her husband Eric, Beatriz Velez and Jessica Velez, nieces, Brianna, Yomayra and Emma Rivera, Ariana Montalvo and Angelina Ortiz, and nephews, Justin Montalvo and E.J. Ortiz.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, November 4, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.  A private cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, NJ.
