Arlene S. (Gnas) Knapp

Arlene (Gnas) Knapp, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Bayonne Medical Center.  Before her retirement, she was employed for several years with the Kraft Corrugated Container Corporation as an assembly line worker.  She was previously employed with the Western Electric Company of Kearny.

Arlene enjoyed life’s simple pleasures such as spending time with her sister and friends on their occasional shopping trips and dining out at their favorite restaurant.  She never missed a chance to spoil her Angora cat, Mickey, who was very near and dear to her heart and brought her great comfort and joy. 

Arlene was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband, Charles Knapp, parents, Frank and Stephania (Skurska) Gnas, two sisters, Irene and Doleres Juchniewicz, and two brothers, Joseph and Richard Gnas.  Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Helen Rooth, and her nephew/godson, Thomas Juchniewicz.

Services and cremation were private.
