Bridget (Kulczycki) Krakosky

Bridget Krakosky, of Daytona Beach Florida, formerly of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest peacefully at the blessed age of 100, at the Good Samaritan Society-Daytona in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Born on April 8, 1919 in Warrior Run, Pennsylvania, Bridget resided in Bayonne for 20 years before moving to Linden then Rahway, NJ, before settling for 16 years in Daytona Beach.  She worked as a sales clerk for the E.J. Korvettes Department Store in Rahway for many years.  Bridget will be dearly missed and remembered by her family and friends and will forever be a role model for a life well lived. 

Bridget was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband of 67 years, Michael Krakosky (deceased in 2006),  son Michael, parents, Martin and Julia (Jarosz) Kulczycki; sisters, Charlotte Kaminski, Emily Moharsky; and her brother, Joseph Kulczycki.  Left to cherish her memory are her sons and their spouses, David (Lori) and Robert (Ruth), her daughter-in-law Theresa Krakosky (Michael); grandchildren, Richard and Debra Krakosky, Cindy and Jeremy Wolcott, April and Michael Ballone, Mandie and Allan Peart, Jennifer and Jim Mitchell and Jeremy and Beri Krakosky, eight great-grandchildren, Christopher Krakosky, Adam and Bailey Wolcott, Brooklyn Krakosky, Addy and William Muse, and Reede and Blake Ballone.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.  A funeral mass will be offered in Bridget’s honor on Friday, October 4, at 10:00 am. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
