Carmen Iris (Osorio) Coss

Carmen Iris (nee: Osorio) Coss, 68, of Bayonne, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Jersey City Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico before settling in Bayonne where she has resided for the past 40 years. Carmen was a dedicated homemaker and a wonderful mother who took tremendous pride in her large family. She will be long remembered with the utmost respect and affection by all who knew her. 

Carmen was predeceased by her beloved husband Angel Luis Coss (in 1988) and her parents, Nicholas and Maria (Pagan) Osorio. Left to cherish her wonderful legacy are her daughters, Roshell Lopez and her husband Ayvan, Berniece Correa and her husband Jose, and Onilda Coss; her sons, Angel Luis Coss Jr., Wendell Coss, Yamil Gonzalez, and Victor Gonzalez; her sisters, Luz Ocasio, Myrna Santiago, Nancy Lopez, Eva, Grace, and Maritza Osario; her brothers, Jose Emilio Ocasio, Hannel Rodriguez, Nelson Pagan, and Nicholas Osorio Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, Jonathan and Demi Lee Correa, Ayvalise and Ayvan Lopez Jr., Shawn, Jalene, Jason, Jared, and Jaden Coss, Tavion and Xavier Marquez, Isabella and Anastasia Gonzalez; and three great-grandchildren, Jonathan Isaiah Correa, Avian Daniel, and Kaydence Olivia Lopez.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 24, from 6:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted during calling hours by the Rev. Joshua Rodriguez of the Cityline Church, Bayonne. Everyone is asked to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 Westside Avenue, Jersey City.
