Christine Marinus

The family of Christine Marinus, announces with deep sadness her unexpected passing on Saturday, December 26, 2020. 

A lifelong resident of Bayonne, Christine was a devoted homemaker who showed warmth and hospitality to all who entered her home.  She treasured quality time with her family and going out to dinner with her close friends.  In her spare time she enjoyed playing board games and listening to music, especially songs from the 70’s.  Christine proudly and passionately embraced her role as mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, fiance' and aunt.  She will be lovingly remembered and will remain in the hearts and souls of all those who were lucky enough to have known her. 

Christine is now reunited in Heaven with her dearly beloved brother, Michael Lebright and her father, George Lebright.  Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary (Petrowski) Cena; step-mother, Ellen Lebright;  step-father, James R. Cena; her daughter, Deda Flora; her two sons, Stephen and Todd Flora; her adored granddaughter, Abygale Carrera; her sister, Cheryl Ford; and her loving fiance', Daniel Murphy.

Cremation was privately held at Rosehill Crematory in Linden.  A walk through Memorial visitation will be held for family and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 2 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. and 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

The funeral home occupancy will be limited to 25 people at a time to adhere to safety protocols.  It is respectfully asked that visitors wear a face covering and maintain social distance during visitation hours.  There will be a hands-free sanitizing station at the front door entrance.  

Grieve not,

nor speak of me with tears...

but laugh

and talk of me

as if I were

beside you.
