Claire Sinnicki, a lifelong Bayonne resident, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. Before her retirement, she was a dedicated secretary with the Jersey Printing Company, where she worked for many years.
Claire found her happiest moments surrounded by her family. Summers at Point Pleasant Beach with her sister Terry and husband Theodore were especially dear to her, enjoying life on their houseboat and making lasting memories with her nieces and nephews. Mornings often began with coffee on the boardwalk, followed by strolls filled with games of chance. Known for her spirited nature, Claire took the stage during open mic nights at the Sea Breeze Inn, now the Tiki Bar, where she charmed audiences with her rendition of the beloved Jersey Tomato Song.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Stella (Miskewicz) Sinnicki; her sister, Terry (Theresa) Czachur; her brother-in-law, Theodore J. Czachur Sr.; and her brothers, Joseph Jr., Edward, and John Sinnicki.
Left to cherish her memory are her four nieces, three nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home, followed by a Catholic prayer. A private cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. A memorial mass will be announced at a later date, after which Claire’s cremains will be interred in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
After Glow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when day is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.
