Daniela C. Kawa (nee: Baran) passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2020, comforted by her deep and abiding faith in God. Born in Poland, she emigrated to the United States, settling in Bayonne many years ago.
Prior to her retirement, Daniela worked as a seamstress for the You and Me Sewing and Dressmaking Company in Jersey City.
A faithful parishioner of St. John Paul II Parish, she was a member of the Ruch Rodzin Nazaretanskich, where she devoted herself to reciting the Holy Rosary each day. Daniela provided a warm and cozy home for all who entered, and was happiest when it was filled with people, laughter and food. She walked through life with grace and beauty, and her love of life and devotion to God was something she shared with every person around her.
Daniela was predeceased by her beloved husband Adolf (in 2001), her parents, Michal and Katarzyna (nee: Kusniesz) Baran, and her brother Marian Baran. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Zofia Castellon and husband Ricardo, Bogumila Lisek and husband Krzsztof, and Marta Kawa, her son Zbigniew Kawa and wife Elszbieta, six grandchildren, Paulina, Kamil, Joanna, Michael, Robert, and Edyta, and four great-grandchildren, Daniella, Natalia, Mateo, and Sebastian.
Please consider leaving a condolence message or lighting a candle on the tribute wall above in honor of Daniela. Your words of comfort may be just the light that the family needs during these trying times. Reaching out reminds them they are not isolated, alone or forgotten.
Services and interment will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, Pa.
