Debra Occimio

Debra A. (Debbie) Occimio, 51, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Bayonne Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Debbie was employed for 30 years with the Maidenform Company in Bayonne, retiring as a supervisor. She then worked as a secretary for the Bayonne Local Chapter of the United Steel Workers Union for many years. Debbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and will always be remembered as a caring person who enjoyed spending time at the beach and doting over her 7 nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and adored.

Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Lorraine (Makowski) Occimio.  Left to cherish her memory are her brother Jeffrey Occimio and his wife Cindy; her sisters, Barbara Michalski and her husband, Keith; and Melissa Colletto and her husband Matt; her step-mother Barbara Occimio and her nieces and nephews, Samantha, Michael, Hayley, Jonathan, Joseph, Anthony, and Aiden.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 29, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  A funeral mass in Debbie’s honor will be offered on Wednesday, November 30, at 10:45 am at St. Henry R.C. Church, 82 West 29^th Street, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
