Durlandy Cubillos Velasquez

Durlandy Cubillos Velasquez, of Cranford, NJ, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Overlook Hospital in Summit.  Born in Colombia, South America, Durlandy immigrated to the United States in 1992 where he resided in Guttenberg before settling in Cranford for the past 17 years. 

Durlandy was a truck driver with the Netro Trucking Company in Kearny.  As a dedicated employee, he took great pride and satisfaction in the outcome of his many years of work there.  He was an honorable man whose presence will truly be missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Durlandy was predeceased by his parents, Luis Alfonso Cubillos and Maria Luisa (nee: Velasquez) Cubillos.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Marisol (nee: Suaza), his daughters, Elaine Cubillos, Carolina Munoz, and Artic Cubillos, and his sons, Durlandy Cubillos, Durlandy Saul and his adored grandchildren.  Also survived by two brothers, one sister, many nieces, nephews and dear friends as well as his loyal and faithful pitbull, "Crash", whom he raised as a pup.
