Eduard Davlatyan, 81, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021 with his loving family by his side.
Born and raised in Russia, Eduard was an ambitious young student with high hopes and dreams for his future. After completing his studies, he received his doctorate in dentistry, then relocated to the Ukraine with his wife Maryna, where they proudly built a beautiful life together and he became a self-employed dentist.
After emigrating to the United States in 2000, the couple resided in Bayonne. Soon after, Eduard and his wife took courses in the field of Home Health Care where they both dedicated themselves to the care and well-being of their patients.
Eduard will be remembered for his great sense of humor and the love of laughter he shared with those around him. He and his wife had a passion for traveling to Europe and taking road trips throughout the United States as well as going on their many wonderful cruises. In his leisure time he took pleasure in cooking and spending quality time at with his family. He was also an avid fan of all types of sports.
Eduard was predeceased by his parents, Tegran and Alla (Brusenska) Davlatyan. Left to cherish his memory are his dearly beloved wife of 54 years, Maryna (Gurba) Davlatyan, two daughters, Alla Tanuos and her husband, Robert, and Angela Davlatyan; and his three adored grandchildren, Jessica, and Steven Tanuos and Eduard Steseshen.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday morning, April 21, from 8:30 am to 10:45 am. A funeral mass in Eduard’s honor will be offered at 11:00 am from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, officiated by Fr. Lukasz Kleczka.
Cremation will be private. Interment of Edward’s ashes will take place in the Ukraine at a later date.
