Frances Andrade (nee: Lorence), a lifelong Bayonne resident, entered into eternal rest on December 21, 2021, at Bayonne Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Frances was a devoted homemaker, caring wife and mother, and friend to all. She prided herself on maintaining an impeccable garden that thrived under her delicate touch. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures such as keeping her pool in pristine condition and enjoying her backyard oasis basking in the sun while spending time with her daughter Kim’s Siberian Husky, Haley.
Predeceased by parents, Vincent Lorence and Harriet (Szymanowski) Lorence. Left to cherish her memory are her dearly beloved husband of 53 glorious years, Anthony Andrade and her loving daughter, Kim. Also survived by her longtime friends, John Gortatowski and Wayne Anderson.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home, on Monday, December 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Catholic prayer service will be offered on Tuesday, December 28, at 10:30 am in the funeral home chapel officiated by Father Lukasz Kleczka of St. John Paul II Parish (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
Due to the current rise in Covid cases, visitation will be limited to 25 people at a time. It is respectfully asked that all visitors immediately exit the funeral home after briefly paying their respects so that others may have the same opportunity. As per the family's request, please refrain from any physical contact and wear a face covering before entering the funeral home.
A Mother's love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendored miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.
