Grzegorz Grabowski, of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2020. Born in Poland, to parents Piotr and Wladyslaw Grabowski, Grzegorz served honorably in the Polish Army.
After immigrating to the United States he worked as a butcher for many years for the B & B Meat & Sausage Provision in Harrison, NJ., and then for the Lowell International Food Distribution in Edison, NJ.
Grzegorz’s warm personality and infectious smile brought joy to all those around him. He embraced life with passion and spirit and enjoyed relaxing times on his getaway fishing trips and the great outdoors.
After his beloved wife Ewa passed away in 2008 at the young age of 38, Grzegorz devoted himself to being a loving father to his son by instilling positive reinforcement, morals, and the importance of a good education. There were friends of his sons who considered him a second father, a mentor and someone to look up to.
Grzegorz will be long remembered and deeply missed by his entire family but they take comfort that he will rest in eternal peace with his dearly beloved wife Ewa. Left to cherish his memory are is son Patrick, and his parents, Piotr and Wladyslawa (nee: Dobrowska) Grabowski, of Poland, three brothers, Andrezej, Kazik and Pawel, his nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be privately held.
