Helen A. Warzecha

Helen A. Warzecha, 94, of Montville, NJ, formerly of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born in Newport, Pennsylvania, she resided in Bayonne for most of her life before settling in Montville. 

Helen will be remembered for her deep devotion to her Catholic faith.  She had a zest for life and a passion for traveling extensively.  In her spare time she took joy in sewing and knitting.

Those who were blessed to have known Helen will be forever grateful for the cherished memories they shared with such a remarkable woman.  

Helen was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Mary (Szpak) Warzecha.  Survived by sister, Genevieve Forgash, nieces, Donna Warzecha, Janet Strugala, and Colette Forgash, three grand-nieces, Susan Donohue, Christine Batiyanyi, and Karen Strugala.

A private entombment will be held on Wednesday, January 20, with a Catholic committal service at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.

Prayer to St. Anthony

O most amiable Protector,
St. Anthony of Padua, what worthy gift
can I possibly offer you to show my gratitude?

I have nothing that is worthy of you; but I offer you all the esteem,
in which you are continuously held throughout the world,
and all the miracles with which you have filled the Church,
even to the benefit of those outside its fold:
all these, admirable Saint Anthony, please express my humble thanks
for everything to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
and to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary through endless ages. Amen
