Jamie G. DeRocco

Jamie G. DeRocco, 45, of Bayonne, passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. A lifelong Bayonne resident, Jamie proudly assisted his father in running the family business, PDR Construction Company of Bayonne. Prior to that, he was employed with the Carpenters Local Union #6/#253 for 18 years.

Jamie embraced life to the fullest and was known for being disciplined and regimented in all he did. He will long be remembered for his infectious smile and kind spirit, and his passion of working out at the gym. Jamie treasured times spent with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and his loving companion Christy Glock and her children Reese and Brennan. Jamie also enjoyed daily walks in the park with his canine buddies, Rocco and Cooper.

Jamie leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted parents, Peter and Patricia (Lemanowicz) DeRocco;  his sister Melissa Condo and her husband Gregory; his brothers, Craig and his wife Denise DeRocco, Todd DeRocco and Chris Beltran; his loving companion Christy Glock and her children, Reese and Brennan; and his nieces, Olivia and Isabella; his nephews, Dominick, Nico and Tyler; his Aunts, Nina DeRocco, Bernadette Voorhees and Marianne Vargo and his uncle, Stephen Lemanowicz. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 30, from 2:00 pm. to 8:00 pm.  A funeral mass in Jamie’s honor will be offered on Monday, October 31, at 10:00 am at Pope John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22^nd Street, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
