Jeovanny Paulino Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that the family of Jeovanny DeJesus Paulino announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Jeovanny immigrated to the United States in 1991 and has resided in Bayonne for the past ten years.  Before his retirement, he worked as a hi-lo operator with the Kenneth Cole Corporation in Secaucus, NJ, for over 15 years.

Jeovanny’s outgoing nature and big heart made him an instant friend to anyone he met. He had a zest for life and a contagious energy that was impossible to ignore.

Jeovanny was more than just a cook, he was the epitome of culinary excellence. He found joy in every aspect of cooking, from selecting the finest ingredients to preparing his signature dishes for all to savor. His genuine pride, was his role as 'Papa' to his beloved grandchildren, Dhalia, Xander, Penelope, and Valentino. He showered them with love and devotion, leaving a lasting impression on their lives.

While Jeovanny may no longer be with us in a physical sense, the cherished memories of him will continue through his loved ones and his countless friends.

Jeovanny was predeceased by his father, Juan Paulino, and his two sisters and two brothers. He leaves behind his companion and best friend, Maria Bautista; his mother, Argentina (Urena) Paulino, his children, Vielkys Paulino and her husband, Alex Cruz; Cris Paulino and his longtime companion, Dayalisse-Olivares and Cristian Paulino and his grandchildren Dhalia and Xander Cruz, and Penelope and Valentino Paulino.

Jeovanny's family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
