Jose E. Jerez-Bourdett, age 30, of Bayonne, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 29, 2016, while visiting relatives in his hometown of Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Jose served his country proudly in the United States Navy. During his short time on Earth, Jose touched many lives and his legacy will live on in his beloved family who will miss him greatly.
Jose is survived by his loving wife Deborah; his adored children, Isaiah and Deborah; his parents, Jose A. and Silvia Jerez; his brother Samuel; his sister Sandy Jerez; his uncles, Luis, Leopoldo, Mario, and Jorge; his aunts, Adela, Mayra, and Emeralda. Also survived by many dear cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home, 20 East 22nd St., Bayonne, on Sunday, January 8, from 6:00 p.m. t0 10:00 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Joshua Rodriguez of the City Line Church. Interment will take place on Monday, January 9, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, N.J.
