Jozef L. Chlasciak

Jozef L. Chlasciak, 71, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Hackensack University Hospital with his loving family by his side.

“Joe”, as he was known by all, was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1986 where he settled in Bayonne. He was employed as a diesel mechanic with the Xtra Leasing Corporation in Kearny, a position he held for 20 before his retirement in 2014.

Joe was predeceased by his parents Waclaw and Anna Chlasciak; and his sisiters, Krysia Chlasciak, Teresa Pawlowska, and Alina Plawska. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 45 years, Anna (Kobialka) Chlasciak;  his daughter Martha Fogu and her husband Thomas, his son Michael Chlasciak and his wife Alicia; his 3 adored grandchildren, Tyler, Sydney, and Steel; and his sister in Poland, Elszbeta Jakobiak.

Family and friends are invited to attend a  memorial mass in Joe’s honor with his ashes present on Friday, December 9th, at 10:00 am. at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 East 22^nd Street, Bayonne.
