Kenneth R. Bevan Sr.

Kenneth R. Bevan Sr., 59, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Jersey City Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Kenneth was employed as a front desk manager with the Bayonne YMCA for more than 21 years and as a stock clerk for Target Department Store for nearly 10 years. Kenneth will be deeply missed by his large extended family and by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Jacqueline (Haynes) Bevan; his sister Shirley Faith, and his brother Raymond Bevan. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth (Heuser) Bevan, 5 daughters, Kristin Nahrwold and her companion Luis; Kerri Lynn Bevan and her fiancé Timothy; Patricia Rae Bevan and her fiancé Michael; Ashley Heuser and her fiancé Jose; and Jenna Leigh Bevan and her fiancé Luis; 1 son, Kenneth Bevan Jr. and his longtime companion Erica; his son-in-law John Jackson; 1 sister, Donna Bevan; 2 brothers, Bruce and Mark Bevan; his godson, Austin Grover, 13 grandchildren, Nautica, Justin, Marissa, Alexavier, Jacob, Vincent, Amani, Michael, Scarlet Rose, Raven Grace, Trinity, Zephie, and Rachel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, June 4, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Cremation will be private.

Donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
