After a life well lived, Laura J. Baccarella (Warner) passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Bayonne University Hospital. Born and raised in Bayonne, she remained there throughout her life. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a computer operator for the Maidenform Company for 20 years.
With an appreciation for the simple things in life, Laura enjoyed the comforts of home, often relaxing with a good book, with a special fondness for mystery novels. She also took pleasure in watching her favorite TV programs and shopping in her spare time.
Being with her family meant the most to Laura. Whether through time spent together or simple phone conversations, she valued those connections. She looked forward to the holidays and gatherings, cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Laura was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Philip J. Baccarella, her son, John Baccarella; and her parents, Stanley and Mary (Posluszny) Warner. Left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Matthew Burke; and his mother, Karen Burke.
Cremation was private. Laura's ashes will be interred at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, New Jersey, at a later date, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
In Loving memory of Laura Baccarella
A life defined by kindness and care,
remembered for the love she shared,
will live on in all the lives she touched,
in quiet moments and lasting memories
that will never fade.
