Michalina Jasinski Obituary

Michalina Jasinski (nee: Humen) of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the Alaris Health in Kearny, NJ.  Born in Poland, Michalina immigrated to the United States as a young girl and has resided most of her life in Bayonne.  She worked as a laborer for the Metro Glass Company in Jersey City, a position she held for many years before her retirement.

Michalina appreciated  the simple things in life and took pleasure in the beauty of nature and the outdoors.  In her leisure time she was an avid sewer with a talent and creativity all her own.  Above all else, Michalina's family was the center of her world.  She had an enduring love and affection towards them in the deepest way one could provide.  She will be missed and remembered and will continue to be the eternal light for all.

Michalina was predeceased by her parents Wasyl and Tekla Humen.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Diane Kaufman, and sons, Zen Jasinski and Walter Jasinski and his wife Joanne, four grandchildren, Michael, Lahna, Mark, and Stephanie, six great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Joseph, Shane, Alex, Coleson, and Syndee, and her two dear sister.

A MOTHER'S LOVE

A Mother's love is something
that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.
