Neal Francis Ruszkowski

Neal Francis Ruszkowski, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on March 18, 2025, at Hackensack Medical Center. For 39 dedicated years, he served as a mail sorter for the United States Postal Service in Jersey City, retiring just last year.

A passionate reader, Neal found joy in exploring the natural world. His fascination with the dynamics of high and low tides, as well as the storms shaping ocean waters, drew him to the captivating stories on the National Geographic channel.

Neal was a devoted and loving uncle to his nephew, Cole, and became a guiding presence after the heartbreaking loss of Cole's parents in 2023. Neal will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his legacy of compassion will continue to inspire and uplift all whose lives he touched.

Neal was predeceased by his beloved parents, William and Margaret (Patrick) Ruszkowski, and his sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Ray Kiesnowski. Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Brian Ruszkowski; his wife, Nikki; their son-in-law, Jason; his wife, Grace Steinfield; and their son, Daniel, and his brother, Kenneth Ruszkowski.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In honoring Neal’s wishes, all services will be private.
