The family of Patricia-Rae Marie Bevan, "Tia," announces with deep sorrow her unexpected passing on June 6, 2024. Born in Jersey City to Elizabeth Bevan and the late Kenneth Bevan Sr., she resided in Bayonne for most of her life.
Tia's home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where cherished memories were created with family and friends. While she delighted in preparing various dishes, her specialty was Italian pasta recipes.
With her skillful hands and creative flair, Tia excelled at bringing out the beauty in others through makeup artistry and hair styling, giving them confidence and joy. In her leisure time, she listened to her favorite music artists and getaways to the beach.
Tia's proudest accomplishment in life was her family. She poured all her love and devotion into being the best mom ever to her three children, Nautica, Alexavier, and Michael.
Although Tia may no longer be with us physically, her radiant spirit will forever brighten the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.
Tia is survived by her three children, Nautica Carrasquillo, Alexavier Penny, and Michael Gunn; her mother, Elizabeth Bevan; her sisters, Kristin Nahrwold, Kerri Lynn Bevan (Timothy), Ashley Heuser, and Jenna Leigh Bevan (Joshua); her brother, Kenneth Bevan Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, and her beloved cat and loyal companion, Batman, who brought endless affection to Tia.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
The Blooming Rose
There's so much beauty
in the blooming Rose
And through its life,
who knows where it goes?
Some Roses will live
over a season through
While others will enjoy
part of the dew.
But even Roses with all
their splendor and heart
Will one day, their
beautiful petals fall apart,
Man, too, has his season
like the Rose
And then, one day
he also must repose.
