Paul Roland Ferentz, 72, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Paul was born in Montclair, NJ, before moving to Bayonne, where he resided for most of his life. He worked as a warehouseman with the Powell-Duffryn Terminals in Bayonne for many years.
With a love for the outdoors, Paul was a motorcycle enthusiast, a passion he enjoyed immensely in his younger years. His greatest pride and joy in life was spending time with his adored grandson, Lawson.
Paul was predeceased by his wife Susan (nee: DeLuca) Ferentz (in 2018), and his parents, Joseph and Evelyn (nee: Cheloc) Ferentz. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Phoebe Jospey and her husband Stevan, two sons, Joseph and Zack Ferentz, and his grandson Lawson Lawrence.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. to honor Paul on his birthday. A Catholic prayer service officiated by FR. Lukasz Kleczka will be held during the afternoon visitation. Cremation will be private.
