Pauline Helen Cimbolic, (nee: Nemetz), 94, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Halifax Hospice, in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Born in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania, Pauline resided in Bayonne for 70 years before settling in Ormond Beach, Florida 3 years ago. She was a past member of the F.A. McKenzie Post Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Arcanum. Prior to her retirement, Pauline was employed for many years with the City of Bayonne as a crossing guard, (stationed at 9th St. and Ave. A) where she was known for her pleasant demeanor and radiant smile towards students and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be sorely missed by her loving family and all those who knew her.
Pauline was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, in 1976, her parents, Joseph and Mary (Sabol) Nemetz, and sisters, Josephine Danish, Anne Balles, Helen Hutnick,Vera Kovacs, and Katherine Wilson. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, John Wayne Kowalski and wife Diane, and Mark Kowalski and his wife Minerva, four grandchildren, David Kowalski and wife Sasha, Nancy Collins and husband Robert, Keri Iapicca and husband Michael, and Mark Kowalski Jr. and wife Alexz, and seven great-grandchildren, Jackson, Anthony, Luca, Maya, Cooper, Kimberly, and Gwen, and her dear sister, Mary Pollack.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering with Pauline’s ashes present on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a catholic religious service to be offered at 11:45 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
