Rocco John Paolino

Rocco J. Paolino, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. 

Born and raised in Jersey City, Rocco moved to Bayonne where he has resided for the past 47 years. 

Before retiring, he was a proud member of the Amalgamated Lithographers of America, Local 1.  Rocco was involved with Boy Scout Troop 19 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for many years serving as Scoutmaster.  He was an active member of the Bayonne Cancer Support Group where he was one of the initial members over 20 years ago.

Rocco loved spending time outdoors whether camping, crabbing, or relaxing at the beach.  He enjoyed a good party, getting people together, trying new recipes, and conversing and laughing with family and friends.  Rocco's greatest pastime was being with his family. His love for his children and grandchildren was unconditional.

Rocco was predeceased by his parents, Rocco & Margaret Paolino (Armenti), his sister Janet Connor, his granddaughter Emmence, and his "furry best friend" Casey. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Sophie (Paduszynski), his children Rocco & Cheryl Paolino, Anthony Paolino and Jamie Paolino, his grandchildren Rocco, Riley, Rachel, and June Paolino, his brother Robert Paolino, his brother-in-law Dr. Adam Paduszynski, his sister-in-law Debby Paduszynski, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved dearly. Rocco will be profoundly missed but his legacy will live on through his proud and loving family and the countless lives he touched.

A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Friday, January 20, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Cremation will be private.

is gone forever,

and his hand we cannot touch,

still we have so many memories

of the one we love so much.

His memory is our keepsake

with which we will never part.
