Stanislaw Roszkowski Obituary

Stanislaw Roszkowski, of Boynton Beach, Florida (formerly Queens, NY and Bayonne, NJ), passed away peacefully on March 15, 2021.  It was his strong faith that sustained him through the last couple of years as he battled cancer and Parkinson’s disease.

Born in  Truskolasy-Wola, Poland, Stanislaw came to the United States in 1980 and lived in New York for many years and briefly in Bayonne before settling in Boynton Beach for the past 20 years.

Stanislaw worked as a computer numerical control (CNC) machinist for various companies over the years.  His favorite pastimes included bike riding and swimming as well as visits back to Poland to spend time with his family and friends.  He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his carefree spirit and the joy he brought into the many lives he touched.

Stanislaw was predeceased by parents, Jan and Stanislawa (Klimaszewska) Roszkowski and his sisters, Teresa and Elzbieta.  Left to cherish his memory are his children and their spouses, Bart and Agnes Roszkowski and Mariusz and Malgorzata Roszkowski, and their mother Wieslawa (Szuminska).  Also survived by his daughter Margaret Roszkowski, his four adored grandchildren, Julia, Sebastian, Jakub, and Natalie and his sister Janina.

A memorial mass in honor of Stanislaw will be held in Polish on Saturday, March 27, at 11:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, officiated by Fr. Lukasz Kleczka.  Inurnment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery Mausoleum, Jersey City.

Remember Me
Remember me whenever you see a sunrise.
Remember me whenever you see a star.

Remember me whenever you see a rainbow,
or woods in Autumn colors from afar.
Remember me whenever you see roses,
or seagulls sailing high in a sky of blue.

Remember me whenever you see waves
shining in the sun. Remember me and
I’ll be remembering you!

Remember me
whenever you see a teardrop or meadows
still wet with morning dew. Remember
me when you feel love growing in your
heart and remember I’ll be remembering
you!
