Stanley P. Domanski Sr., 80, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, with his loving family by his side.
Stanley served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. After completing his military service, Stanley worked for the Exxon Oil Refinery Company in Bayonne, as a shift supervisor, a position he held for more than 20 years. Stanley operated his own independent travel agency entitled, “EZ/Travel Service”, a business he took tremendous pride in.
A true gentleman with sincerity and kindness, Stanley was known for his devotion to his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved and adored. He and his wife Mildred enjoyed vacations to the Dominican Republic and trips to Atlantic City.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents John and Estelle (Pawlak) Domanski; and his two brothers, Walter and John Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Mildred, (Soltys) Domanski; his children and their spouses, Donna Antos (Frank), Stanley Jr. (Stella Quinones) Kevin (Nancy) and Gerald (Donna); his brother Ronald Domanski; 17 grandchildren, Megan and Frank, Josh, Taylor, Lexi, Kayci, Jesse, Julie and Dave, Anthony, Rebecca, Kaila, Skylar, Sienna, Hunter, Michael and Lyndsey, and 3 great-grandchildren, Krystal, Daniella, and Dominic.
A visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, March 11, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass in Stanley’s honor will be offered on Monday, March 12, at 10:00 am. at St. John Paul II Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
