Zbigniew Zbyszek Skibniewski

The family of Zbigniew Skibniewski, affectionately known as "Zbyszek," announces with deep sorrow his unexpected passing on December 11, 2024. Born in Grajewo, Poland, and raised in Elk, Poland, he later moved to Bayonne, New Jersey. 

In his leisure time, Zbyszek passionately followed soccer matches. He also found peace in freshwater fishing at the serene location of Swartswood Lake in Stillwater and Hampton Townships, Sussex County, NJ.

Zbyszek will forever live in the hearts of his loving family and those fortunate enough to know him. He was predeceased by his father, Roman Skibniewski. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Krystyna (Tynecka) Skibniewska; his sons, Adrian and Marcin Skibniewski and his wife Courtney; his sisters, Grazyna Rogalska and Wioletta Stanczyk; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Dworzanski & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, December 15, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A funeral mass in Polish in Zbyszek’s honor will be offered on Monday, December 16th, at 10:30 am at St. John Paul II Parish (Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church), 39 E. 22nd St., Bayonne, NJ.  Cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, NJ.
